More of my Story

I’m Katherine (you can also call me Kat). NYC native, Latina, Honduran, and a first-gen raised by my mom. At a high level this is what I’m about:

  • I am a mom to two daughters and a dog, a wife to the love of my life

  • I am an avid traveler (30+ countries) and love learning about new cultures

  • I have started a few businesses including a nonprofit that raised about $20k to empower people in Honduras through education and career building skills

  • I also volunteered every Saturday for over 6 years mentoring low-income high achieving high school students 

  • I have led mindfulness classes for corporations focusing on building courage and confidence

At a young age, I was always taught to believe in myself and go after my goals. But I didn’t really understand my purpose, so I pursued a Finance/Marketing major in college. Which led me to join the strategy consulting world, where I managed teams of over 1,000 individuals and worked with the largest companies like NBCU, Meredith, Memorial Sloan Kettering, MetLife, WellsFargo, Credit Suisse to name a few.​ And although I was really good at consulting, it didn’t make me feel alive. I was spending hours of my life and my energy on something that didn’t feel aligned to who I am. So I started looking more inward at what did light me up. Through this and other life experiences, I realized that my purpose is to empower others and help them feel aligned to who they truly are. Now my focus is that wherever I spend my time and energy on is centered around my purpose, and that shows up in different ways throughout my businesses. I am thankful and excited to continue sharing this journey with you all.
